Hey, I'm Gautam

I've spent 8+ years designing products — but somewhere along the way, "designer" stopped feeling like enough of a title. I want to wear the PM hat, the engineer hat, and sometimes just the "why does this thing work this way?" hat. If a product has a story, I want to know it — whether it's a web app, a mobile flow, or a physical object sitting on your desk.

I'm not chasing one type of product. I'm chasing all of them.

The gaming industry has been home for most of my career — and it's taught me something most industries don't force you to learn fast: players are ruthless about experience. One clunky flow, one frustrating onboarding, and they're gone — maybe forever. That pressure to make every interaction worth coming back to shaped how I think about design at its core.

I started my career at PwC, a service-based company where I had the incredible opportunity to work across multiple diverse domains including healthcare, pharma, and lifestyle projects — a crash course in how wildly different industries solve problems, and how design thinking bends to fit each one.

"Gaming taught me delight. Consulting taught me range."

When I'm not designing, I'm probably:

• ✈️ Traveling — chasing new cities, new cultures, new stories
• 🚗 Geeking out over cars and tech — because good engineering is good engineering, whether it's on four wheels or in a Figma file
• 🎮 On my PS5 — but let's be honest, nothing beats...
• 🎲 Board game night with family — strategy, chaos, and a little bit of sibling rivalry
• ⚽🏏🏸💪 Chasing a ball (or a PR) outdoors — football, cricket, badminton, and the gym are my favorite kind of "downtime"
• ☕ Cafe-hopping — I will always say yes to exploring a new cafe and a good cup of coffee

I'm always up for a conversation about products, design, gaming, or the best cafe you've been to recently. Reach out — I'd love to hear the story behind whatever you're building.
